FAMILY POTTERY DAY with the Coxsackie-Athens Elementary PTO. Join us in making a personalized Cookies for Santa plate with your child’s hand-print on the plate! Three delightful designs to choose from. Seatings at 9am, 11am and 1pm at the Coxsackie Elementary Cafeteria, 24 Sunset Blvd. $20 per plate paid at the door. All are welcome. WOMEN’S SELF DEFENSE – Wednesday November 6th at Coxsackie Elementary School. 6:30-9:30pm. Don’t be a statistic! Join us to learn effective strategies to recognize, avoid, and respond to unwanted encounters. Gain self-protection strategies that are effective regardless of size, age, or fitness level. CRAFT FAIR, BAKE SALE & WHITE ELEPHANT SALE at the First Re-formed Church of Coxsackie, 284 Mansion Street. Crafts, homemade food items and white elephant items for sale, 9am – 1pm. Christmas ornaments & decorations as well as other crafts available. Delicious homemade baked goods. You will also be able to order a homemade wreath or candy cane to decorate your home at Christmas.

CAIRO WOODCARVERS CLUB meets the third Monday of each month in the Community Room of the Cairo Public Library, 15 Railroad Avenue, Cairo. Those attending should have some experience and be of an age to handle carving tools safely, as this is not a class and there is no instruction.
