9TH ANNUAL LENTEN FISH/SEAFOOD FRY at The Catskill Elks Lodge every Friday during Lent. Dinners are $11 (haddock, shrimp or clams) or $14 (combination platter) and are served from 5pm – 7:30pm; last order must be placed by 7pm. Take-outs available. INTRO TO IPHONE – Free Computer Class at the Heermance Memorial Library, 1 Ely Street, Coxsackie, 1pm. Master iPhone basics at this beginner-friendly class. Learn how to make and receive calls, send text messages, snap photographs, adjust key settings, and install apps. Bring your iPhone and Apple ID/Password to class for hands on practice. NICKEL SOCIAL hosted by the Cairo-Durham Little League at the Cairo Resurrection Lutheran Church, 186 Main Street, Cairo. Doors open at 11:30am and drawings start at 1pm. Bring a non-perishable item to donate to the local food pantry and be entered into a special drawing.
EAT & SHOP IN MEDUSA! RUMMAGE SALE at Medusa Church, 8am to 12 noon. BREAKFAST at the Medusa Fire House 7 to 11am. All located on Albany County Rte. 351.

Sunday, March 17

ALL YOU CAN EAT BREAKFAST – made to order, at the Greenville American Legion Hall, to benefit Boy Scout Austin Field’s Eagle Scout project. Serving 8am to 12 noon, 54 Maple Avenue, Greenville. Austin has chosen to fundraise and install a permanent sign for the American Legion on the corner of Route 81 and Maple Avenue. This is a big honor, and quite an achievement for any young man. Please come out and show your support. Breakfast will also be held on April 21.


Tuesday, April 2

MEMBERSHIP DRIVE for The Greene County Women’s League Cancer Patient Aid, at their regular monthly meetings now held at Angel’s Fam-ily Restaurant, 4385 NY-23 in Cairo. Membership Meetings are held the 1st Tuesday of the month, April thru December (special events in August and December; please ask for details). Lunch at 12 noon; meeting called to or-der at 1pm. Yearly dues $25.00. G.C.W.L. is a 501(c)(3) non-for-profit organization providing Greene County Cancer patients with assistance in paying medical expenses. 100% of donations go to patient care.
